Sometimes in life, you get lucky... and sometimes you hit the jackpot. When we snagged the chance to chat to German band 'Tokio Hotel' for the second time this year, we knew we were in for a treat - and we're not talking the Apfel Strudel variety. You see, this is a band that has taken the majority of Europe by storm. After an ear piercing reception at their recent London gig, they are back to promote the release of their debut English album 'Scream', due out on August 27th...

THE UK STREET TEAM:
Now you know about Caps off for Charity, can we expect to see Tom's naked bonce anytime soon?
Tom: I cant answer that in general. It depends on the charity. But I guess I can say that if I would ever do it, it would create inner peace for most women (laughs).
In Islington, Gustav kept his shirt on and Bill didn't flash the tattoo. Can we have some flesh next time? Pretty please?
Tom (laughs): Bill and I told Gustav and Georg that its really better for them to keep their shirts on especially when they want to get any chance with the ladies
Does anyone in the band snore?
All: Gustav does.
Bill: If you don't go anywhere without your laptop, what do you use it for the most?
Bill: Most of all I need it to just check my e-mails all the time.
Georg - How do you pull off being laid back in such a hectic lifestyle?
Georg: Im a very calm person. I like to kick back and watch things around me from a distance. Thats just how I am even when it becomes hectic.
Gustav - How do you prepare for a performance? Those drums must take an incredible amount of energy.
Gustav: Before a show I tape my fingers, then I play to warm up my muscles. Because youre right, playing the drums is very energetic and you need to be in good condition. I always compare it with being an athlete in professional sports (laughs). You have to work your technique as well as take care of your body.

We came, we saw and we got a lovely hat signed to prove it.
The lads from Tokio Hotel were pleased to sign their names to the hat pictured on the right. Close your eyes a little and it almost looks like it could be Burberry. Luckily it's not... but it could be yours. All you need to do to enter is to make your own Tokio Hotel sign to hold up at their concerts. We've given you a template - just add your creative inspirations. A message, poem, drawing - whatever takes your fancy. An example of the poster is below:

Download Tokio Hotel Poster Template here (.pdf file)
Download Tokio Hotel Poster here (.jpg file)
The rules:
1. You must use the template provided.
2. Posters can be decorated in any way but entries must be submitted via email. (Send a photo if you need to).
3. No profanities please!
4. The closing date is 7th September, 2007
5. Please send entries to: tokiohotel@seatwave.com
Good luck - and don't forget to take your work of art to the next Tokio Hotel concert!

There will be a Tokio Hotel radio show on air next Wednesday night (August 22nd 2007). You can hear it online. The boys requested some songs and we'll play the interview audio so that you can hear their voices. We'll also chat to some of their fans. If you're interested in chatting to the presenter, you can email us at tokiohotel@seatwave.com.
Song requests, shout outs and messages can be left here, or in the comments section on the radio show blog.

Thank you to everyone for you fantastic (and somewhat disturbing at times) questions!
The interview went ahead and you'll be pleased to know that the boys were as charming as ever. There's nothing like sharing a hotel with Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav right? Bill's hair was appropriately spiked, the eyeliner applied and Tom's hat was... you guessed it - firmly plonked on top of his head.
Interview time was limited and we squeezed in what we could. The lads answered in German so we'll get our translator on the case. The full interview will be on the site on Wednesday. We also managed to get a baseball cap signed by all four of the boys. We will run a competition on the site for a chance to win the signed head gear. You can't say we don't look after you!
Details of the competition and how to enter will be online by the end of today... keep your eyes peeled.

HAVE YOU GOT A QUESTION?
We have been given another rare chance to interview the talented Tokio Hotel lads from Germany - and once again, we want your suggestions and burning questions (how nice are we? Really...)
We'll do our best to get some more signed prizes - so keep your eyes on the site. Be quick with your questions - the clock is ticking. Leave them in the comments section and we'll ask the best ones.
The interview has now taken place. The full transcription will be here next week. In the meantime, enter our competition to win a hat signed by the Tokio hotel boys!

And the winner (after much disussion) is:
Agata Sobocińska
As far as 'Tributes' go, we couldn't look past the time and effort put in to create a 31 metre banner. Not to mention organising hundreds of fans and creating an website. Your time and dedication was amazing Agata.
For the full details of Agata's entry, please read on...
A special mention must go to Milena Stepniak for her film containing hand drawn pictures, singing and poems. The work that went into this was also astounding. Maria, we are so impressed that we will send you a prize too. We'll make it something special (and TH based!).
The judges also asked that we mention the talented girls who sent in the birthday cake entry and the painted stomach - full marks for originality! Entry 39 by Iveta Karpathyova was also particularly striking.
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. We are still shocked by the quality of ALL of your entries!!
